The Cold Steel Voyager series is arguably Cold Steel's most popular line of knives. The Voyager series has been creating satisfied customers all over the world for many years now. Constructed with rugged Zytel handles, these knives are made for hard use. Zytel is a type of injection molded plastic that will not rust, fade, rot, shrink or warp. The handle has been designed with aggressive grip checkering on both sides so the knife remains securely in your grasp. Additionally, contouring of the handle provides finger grooves or pistol grip security, depending on the model chosen. The handle also has an oval shaped cross section to prevent twisting while in the hand. The steel of the Voyager knives is made from the high quality VG-1 steel which has proven itself to be excellent in edge retention and sharpness. The lock used on these knives is a mid-lock with an extra stiff spring that has been shown to hold 120 lbs without failing. The pivot pin is reinforced steel. Everything about this knife says "strength". Available in plain edge or serrated versions, you will not find a better cutting companion for the money than you can with the Cold Steel Voyager. |
